This orientation was hosted by the International Exchange Team and it offered information related to academics and school life, while also introducing the convenience facilities offered at school, as well as the various documents needed as exchange students. In addition to that related to school life, special lectures were also held related to Korean culture to help students settle down in Korea, which was especially popular among the exchange students.
YU has various agreements with over 370 universities and institutes in more than 50 countries around the world and it offers exchange student programs every semester. In the first semester of this year, 83 exchange students from 31 colleges in 13 countries came to YU and there are currently 149 foreign exchange students studying at YU in the first semester of 2018. YU will also dispatch 110 students to 45 overseas sister schools in 16 countries during the first semester of 2018 where they will study for a semester to one year.
