Testifying the superiority of the Department of Chemical Engineering and the BK21 display material process R&D Workforce Cultivation project

Dr Shamsuzzoha (32, photo), who received his PhD in Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Yeungnam University, was appointed as a professor at KFUPM (King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals), which is the most prestigious university in Saudi Arabia.
Dr Shamsuzzoha enrolled in the Yeungnam University Graduate School PhD course in 2003 and received his PhD in 2007 (advisor: Professor Lee, Moon-yong), and worked at the graduate school department of chemical engineering until 2008 as a BK21 post-doctorate researcher.
During his PhD course, Dr Shamsuzzoha gained considerable achievements in his research on optimal tuning methods of PID controllers based on analytical methods, and was internationally recognized for his research capacities by publishing nine theses on SCI-level journals.
KFUPM, which Dr Shamsuzzoha will be appointed at was ranked as the number 1 university in Saudi Arabia and the 349th in the world by the 2010 Times Higher Education evaluation.
