Special Graduate Schools

Graduate School of Clinical Pharmacy

Introduction

The Graduate School was founded on September 26, 2003 and received it's first class on March 1, 2004.

Currently, the Graduate School has become one of the best schools majoring clinical pharmacy in Korea. The educational goal of the Graduate School is to continuously promote change and update of healthcare system for the rational drug use and health management by research and teaching on the professional knowledge toward pharmacists and related staff working within the healthcare system.

Length of Programs and Residence

Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy program normally extends over 5 semesters.

Admission

Persons holding a Bachelor's degree in the field of health science awarded by a Korean college or equivalent as accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology are eligible to apply. Admission is granted through documents screening (undergraduate GPA) and interview.

Application

Recruiting is made biannually: in December for the spring semester and in July for the fall semester.
Applicant have to submit the following materials to Administration Office of the Graduate School.

  1. 1) properly completed Application Form (supplied by the Office)
  2. 2) Certificate of Degree conferred, expected, or equivalent
  3. 3) Transcripts (showing undergraduate GPA)
  4. 4) Three Photos (4×5cm) taken within three months of the date of application

Degree and Certificate

Students enrolled in the Graduate School and satisfied all the requirements are awarded with Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy. Students shall complete a total of 24 credits including minimum 6 credits of general courses. Three (3) more credits are needed when students choose "graduation report" instead of "master thesis". An overall grade average of B or above is required for the Master of Science degree.
